Maya`s in Poplar Bluff

Overpriced in my opinion. The food was ok but not what expected. The service was great though.

Amazing food. Friendly staff. Great environment. Best food I've had In a very long time. I will definitely be going back and I 1000% recommend this place to anybody looking for the best Mexican food around. I wish I could be a regular there. Maybe in the future. Wish I could give more than 5 star.

The serve was very bad. We had trouble getting to order while other people who came in after us had ordered and started eating before we even ordered. My husband even had to go get us straws. My son had to go get us to go trays. We had trouble flagging our waitress down to bring us items. They even charged us for a to go cup. I will not be eating here again.

Must have been a bad day for them. Won't be going back though.. very poor service.. then again maybe his first week of serving??. Whatever though this over all was a very bad first and only experience. Food was not great either.. No refill on chip basket, no separate bowls for salsa, there was a bug in my margarita.. enough said 1 star because I couldn't leave zero.

Wow, just seeing the roach comments. Wish we would've seen before going Saturday evening, it would've saved us money. I dont live in the area and we wanted Mexican. I really wish we would've researched our options better. Food was just meh. Nothing special. Service, on the other hand was awful. I watched our server, Armando, be rude to several of his tables around us including yelling out orders with plates in his hand. Serving 101: remember who orders what. Also, NO ability to multitask. We asked for drinks several times, then to go containers and we were told "hold on, I'm in the middle of something". The worst part is he made an inappropriate comment to a member of our party, about their weight. Manager didnt care at all when notified. I am so disgusted with this place. No one should go here. EVER. I'd give them zero stars if it were an option.

Best Spanish food I can remember having. They have a good variety of food. They have great vegetarian options as well. If you are looking for an authentic Spanish meal experience, I'd highly recommend Maya's.

No longer a fan of this restaurant. We have eaten there Dec 26th since it opened. Today 1st we found a hair in our salsa, so I had our waiter bring a new one , and instead of apologizing he rolled his eyes at me. Then our order was wrong , I had bean nachos not hard , with an extra alicart taco . My taco was so stale I made him take it back and off the bill. Service sucks and food is even worst. We will never go back .

Went before Covid 19 and food and service was great. Went after Covid 19 and guess what? Food and service was still amazing. Awesome Mexican restaurant. If your looking for good food, check this place out.

We love this place. We always recieve friendly service. The mixed drinks are awesome! This is not "fast" food, so don't expect your meal in two minutes. The meal is always hot and delicious. The decor is upbeat and chearful and we enjoy looking around at the colorful walls and art as much as we enjoy eating. They are a MUST STOP when in Poplar Bluff!

Food was really good for it being Mexican food in Missouri. The staff was friendly. The womens bathroom on the other hand freaked me out. I had to kill a little cockroach that was on the toilet seat. It was 87 degrees inside this bathroom and there was water all over the floor. The toilet when I flushed it had sprayed up. I am assuming this is where the water from the floor came from.

Chips a bit stale and salsa was OK. Cheese dip was good. Standard fare for a Mexican food restaurant. Building is colorful and staff was nice and hard working.

The food is excellent, our Server was absolutely amazing, kept our drinks and chips full and constantly checking to make sure we didn't need anything else. This restaurant has great food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Many employees were not wearing masks as required in order to be open to the public during the pandemic. The food was great but the staff- not so much. Because I was hungry and unfamiliar with their menu, it took me a while to decide and our server made his annoyance very clear. If I had been by myself, I would have left without ordering.

My food was okay (mediocre) and my friend could not finish her plate until she covered it in cheese sauce bc it was so dry. It took a bit for our waitress to come to our table to take our drink order and they were not busy. Cheese dip was cold and also took over 5 minutes to get to our table. Waitress just seemed uninterested in helping us. It's odd to me that they put potatoes, peas and lima beans in their rice.

One of the best Mexican Restaurants around. Love this place. And Broady (hope spelled right sorry if not) is an Amazing Waiter. Great dinner out experience
